Talus, the creamsicle hop!

We first discovered Talus two years ago, and it’s quickly become a favorite in our brewhouse. Talus brings a unique orange creamsicle character to the table—some of us even detect subtle notes of vanilla. We've found it shines brightest in lower doses, where its complexity really comes through without overpowering the beer.

Our recent collaboration with Pizza Boy, Citrus Mirage, is a perfect showcase of how Talus complements Simcoe, creating a bright, layered flavor profile. As the daughter of Sabro—a hop known for its polarizing profile—Talus captures all the best parts of its lineage while leaving out the more divisive traits.

We’re always exploring new and distinctive hops, and we can definitely see Talus making more frequent appearances in our kettle!
